This happens in the UK, but very, very rarely. Even as a bong I can think of multiple examples in the USA. Portland, Salem, Charlotte, Meridian. I could go on and on
I am genuinely curious, not trying to shit on you. Bongs did after all land in the US and immediately name things Boston, Manchester, Bedford, Worcester etc.
