To imply that they're ANYTHING but "privileged" is simply insane, even if they aren't as much so as white Americans.
Also, to imply like it's somehow excusable to commit murder just because "muh poverty" is ridiculous. Plenty of black americans manage to live decent lives just fine without becoming hood rats, there's no fucking excuse for something as despicable as murder. Moreover, by saying that it's not their fault, you're essentially implying that blacks are like rabid animals who simply don't know any better and therefore don't know any better, which is ironic coming from someone taking a supposedly anti-racist stance.
