Well, they did sign with UMG and it seems they are taking steps to get into western market, for example the amount of english lyrics in the song. Even the release time for this particular MV was set so that it was good time for western audience.

Maybe they would have released the song normally despite that (maybe even to cover it up) but YG's taxes probably were too much and it got pushed. Shame, really. I'd love at least 2 weeks of photos and fancams from MBC Music core. Their stuff is top notch.
