I'm not gonna speculate on their reasons for doing so but personally I'm fine with opposing a religious doctrine which specifically encourages conquest and the suppression of freedom by among other things implementing a separate system of governance and law than the host nation.
Yeah, there are some moderate muslims, albeit rare, and they usually are third generation or more inhabitants of countries who aren't majority muslim. The problems arise when they're relatively fresh off the boat and still carry with them the baggage of being raised in that kind of culture and/or when they come to power and start enforcing their doctrine on everyone around them.
There used to be some moderation within muslim communities even in the middle east until the caliphate fucked it all up.>>9205488
Overall I think so.
It's one thing having a tiny cabin with two bedrooms and some bunk beds when you're only a couple of people. The living room section of the old cabin is smaller than my bedroom here.
Also most people these days aren't super comfortable with using an outhouse during a freezing cold winter night, not to mention the cleanup after so inviting friends to stay there was less enticing than it is now.
