>>2739244>is there any hope for a season 3?
The author's been writing a sequel to the main novels. If we're lucky, this will reignite popularity. If it's popular enough in Japan, then a studio will want to adapt it.
Now, it's been a while since the show aired, and I don't know who currently has the rights for an adaptation. The show could pick up at season three, or a new studio could start from the beginning, or we could even get an OVA covering the sequel. Either way, we don't know our chances until someone gets news about how well the book sells.
In the meantime, you could always look into reading the light novels or the manga yourself. Like I said, more sales makes an anime more likely.
