I feel like there is new kemono artist emerging every day, yet somehow kemono still feels obscure. This is despite animal people being like on some occasion by big-name artists.
Even studio trigger level of popularity didn't help that much
[spoiler:lit]excluding the Japanese furry, I feel that the general Japanese audience sees furry stuff differently from the western, more of a cartoony thing, rather than a perverse thing. The hate for the furry is relatively limited there compared to here, this more to highlight how the furry is ignored in Japan, thus the obsurity[/spoiler:lit]
