People used to blame it on a mix of writers even when a producer was good, but we've had some shows where the writers do the whole series, and then people say they should have gotten other writers to help them out.
I just don't think they're able to do a year long series properly. One of the issues I had with Build's later episodes is that they not only reversed basic ideas on the story, they actually went and undermined the earliest episodes to make them pointless. And the story resolution was honestly the worst fucking thing for "heroes" to do, but it was framed as good.
Actual spoiler for Build's end game here The solution to Build is that to save their universe, they're going to mix it with another universe, killing everyone in both of the 2 universes but creating a third universe without the main villain. So congrats, you killed 2 universes full of people for what fucking reason exactly? How is that the hero solution? This is never even remotely justified, it's just a thing that everyone assumes is a good idea??
