might actually work quite well though, and it's hard to tell how the frame rides, whether it's a boat anchor or not or if it has a bit of spring to it.
i think that rear mech is a replacement so this bike might have seen some servicing over the years. That exage group is low end but that stuff does tend to work quite well aside from the brakes sucking which you could upgrade.
Glaring issue really to me is the ludicruously long ramps on the bars, the ergonomics of it probably suck. But I mean you can change that. This bike might also warrant a full restore if you want it to work really well.
I think it's worth a ride. I don't personally like it. But it might be a solid rider.
