Live in 30 km from uni.
Bicycle - not possible, because I will get sweaty
Subway/metro - possible, 1 hour + walking (30 minutes or so)
Bus - possible, 1,5 hours, no walking
Car - I don't have one yet, but it would be 1 hour 10 minutes, because I will get stuck in same traffic jam.
Before that I lived in city, big one.
Lived 20 km away from school.
Bicycle - not possible
Subway/Metro - possible, 55 minutes + walking (30 minutes or so).
Bus - impossible
Car - 1 to 2 hours, depend on traffic.
Commuter train - possible, 30 minutes + walking (1 hour).
Commuter train + electric scooter (I was one of first adopter of this technology in my shithole) - possible if not raining (snow is fine). 30 minutes + 10 minutes full throttle mad driving at 35 km/h (instrument speed, don't know real). 30 minutes + 20 minutes driving with cup of coffee.
Tram + Bus - 2 hours.
Subway+Tram - 1 hour 5 minutes.
I fucking hate subway, it never delivers you in place you need. Useless piece of shit. Only non-local assholes use it, because buses and trams are complicated for them.
Commuter trains were based, since those were ER2 and similar shitboxes, doors don't close in winter, and I could enjoy 60 km/h -20 C wind in face, and empty car because heating failed.
During summer doors won't close either, because it is too hot and they seize.
