what are the best meals for multi day bikepacking when you can't get new food and cook every day?

When I go for long distance hiking I usually pack lyophilized pastas and a bit of parmesan cheese (very dry). You just have to pour water and heat.

If you don't mind the price trek & eat rations are also very easy: you just pour boiling water in the package and eat from it.

I also pack little dry snacks like peanuts, jerky meat, dried fruits etc.

this packs calories in
proportions don't really matter though you just get dif things

you can adapt this recipe a lot. the only key ingredients are oats, sugar, oil and salt, all very cheap
then not burning it

I make something like this all the time, they're delicious. I put half a cup of flour in there too, so they're more cookie-like.
Wouldn't advise as a mid-ride snack though since they're rather heavy to digest. Great for before and after though

1) The beauty of bikepacking is that you can usually get food everyday (if only from a gas station)

2) pasta, instant mashed potatoes, peanuts, and snacks, lots of snacks. A box of cookies is like 6000 cal and 150g of protein, I dump the whole thing into a shopping bag so it takes less space and eat it over two days or so, most of it the first day because space. There's no shame in packing out a dozen donuts if you're burning the calories.
