I get all that, but again when you consider the fact that the UK is around 2% of the size of the US and has fundamentally different geography it's not surprising. I wouldn't claim the US to be shitty by drawing comparisons with the Himalayas, because that completely neglects the point. Most people here are sick of green. Luckily up north you only really get it between May and September, the rest of the year you get lovely oranges, browns and that sweet sweet white.
