So much. I don't use it as much as I should, but one of my favorite dishes to take camping is dehydrated home-made spaghetti sauce with ditalini. You have to keep a low fat content to prevent it from spoiling, but adding a packet of avocado oil, made with a vacuum sealer, brings the flavor right back. Also drying home-grown herbs, making all sorts of snacks, reducing tinctures, whatever you want to remove moisture from.
I also do my own peanut butter packets, seal meds and any emergency items that need to be kept dry and clean, I also cut the seal off of some pre-packaged foods such as Knorr sides, add freezedried chicken and an oil packet and reseal the bag. hell, you could probably even seal emergency cash inside a ketchup packet. Who tf would check inside a ketchup packet for hidden money?
