Listen, harsh criticism is par for the course on /p/, so don't take anything written in this thread too seriously. However, everyone is dead-on accurate in their assessment of these photos. You went to a safe, open public walking space, which looks like maybe Aspen's farmer's market? Do they hold that in the town square?
This is sort of like going to a manicured park or arboretum and calling it landscape photography. It's going to a petting zoo and calling it wildlife photography. The only thing that you're going to manage to capture is bored middle class people doing boring middle class people things on a Saturday. There's no narrative, no drama, just an idle diversion. If you wanna take photos while you get some snacks and a coffee, cool. Go for it. If I were in Aspen, I'd be out in the woods on a Saturday morning.
