I went out this afternoon to shoot a bit, winter sun out in full force, so I choose low iso b&w film.
Except, I watched the light fall on buildings, people, full and empty streets, marveled at the different sceneries, and I didn't shoot a single photo.
I feel this is the result of the economical nature of film with the 24 poses only, roaming a city I've already shot hundreds of times already.
Some frames, I could never capture faithfully with my camera. So might as well just, soak them in.
So I just walked around and observed people and the way light behaves.
And it felt good.
Did that ever happen to you ?
