Trying to be helpful where I canhttp://www.instagram.com/ThePunkyScotsman>>3241319
Nice and bright and good colours for mobile. Processing/editing feels a bit flat but you have simple concepts in your photos and execute them well for the audience. Perhaps aim to get rid of the dominant greys, introduce more flowers and macro>>3241597
I said it in another thread but your style and gear remind me of The Night of the Living Dead and old film in general
Normally I'd say your early stuff is bland and the contrast and blacks are too much for instagram but you have nearly 1k+ on your early shots so they're wasted words>>3241620
You have a real City Life vibe going on and some great shots. I can see you're trying to incubate followers, some things I'd suggest-
Stop describing the contents of the photo and your gear in the tags, this isn't flickr.
Tag local bands, music accounts, city accounts etc instead. Those are your audience and target after all.
Get featured more, if you're specific to one city it's the quickest way to get known by locals and local insta accounts. It's literally as simple as taking a nice photo of some iconic/well known thing
Remove the pointless white borders and shoot/crop for it instead. It's instagram.
Some of your highlights are blown out too, but that's not a big deal and something I'm sure you're aware of
I'm giving you an essay because you're one of the better accounts on here, but you're making some weird choices. Good luck either way>>3241840
I just came back from Amsterdam and have some of those exact same shots, it's frustrating to see them shot and edited better.
As with the other guy, I'd recommend avoiding all those gear tags. All you're picking up is more photographers
You also have a chaotic curation mix but it makes the feed feel personal and involved so y'know, do what you do
