>>3434043Like a few edits in this thread, looks like you tried to enhance mood with color toning, but because the color toning is too uniform it comes off looking like a white balance issue. If you want somber cool toning, you have to balance it out with something like warmer shadows or desaturated highlights/shadows so it isn't boringly blue. Also when everything is blue, it makes everything seem less blue in a way because there's nothing to contrast it with. Sometimes you can make an image seem even more cool by including warm or even grey aspects of the image. Nice job considering the narrative and what color would help tell the story.
>>3434052While removing most of the color makes the details much more clear, part of what makes that image so interesting is all the exciting colors of the city lights at night. So I'd suggest keeping the color. aside from that, the contrast looks good. Pushed the whites just far enough. Thanks for contributing.
>>3434126Solid edit, nothing stands out as needing correcting. Maybe the colors could be pushed a little more. Nice work.
>>3434187Skin retouching looks good. Also skin color is nice. I'd push the brightest highlights more. The highlights could use more tonal contrast. I like how you took the time to work on the background, but I'd argue that this image needs less red in the background, not more. The more red in the image, the less the important reds stand out.
>>3434228Really well done. Great job fine tuning the distortion.
>>3434236Love this one. The way you were able to get that separation of hue really improves the image. Vignette looks great. Fabulous work.
>>3434362You are so helpful, thanks again for the time you spent arranging that.
>>3434389Great. I think 50% opacity over your original edit would be perfect. The subtle cross process is appealing. Thanks for contributing.
