>>3560003>How do I take good flash photos with only the pop-up?
You don't. The only reason people do is to mimic bad photography to get a nostalgic feel. That and the popularity of people like Terry Richardson
You can use techniques like bouncing it off floors and walls and use mounted diffusers and grids in a pinch, but you're still settling for less when you shouldn't be
I think Adorama or B&H have a video on on-camera flash. Obviously targetted at new photographers but it'd help you out til you can afford one>>3561526>Is pop-up flash powerful enough to be effectively bounced via the creative use of cardboard?
Yes but in practicality this is just wasting time>Mostly for purposes of "macro" photography where I'm on a tripod
Then there's no reason to use on camera flash and it'll obstruct you more than it'll help you, particularly in post>>3561649
This but ignore the TTL suggestion and shoot manual flash- Starting on TTL is a needless crutch and again, causes more problems than it helps in any case that matters
