I just got a Mamiya 6 and trying to figure that out myself. My usual framing intuition is failing me when trying to go beyond bullseye framing to add some interest. I’m also finding myself placing the horizon too low. I might get an instax square camera just to fuck around with framing.

I disagree, it's horrible trying to squeeze a sense of flow or dynamism out of 1:1. The eyelines are all very weak.
