Of course, you ignore the fact that the paint on the prototype is rough in places, giving it a playdoh drying out look and why i usually prefer production figures over hand painted prototypes.
Tampographs, spray masks, and other factory ways of doing paint applications are way neater.
Also, Mattel was always mediocre when it comes to making toys. They shouldn't be allowed to continue renewing their license for DC toys, especially when their sales are so shit.
Sales are so shit for them that Mattel has been directly the cause for DC cartoons being canceled.
