I've been beating this dead horse for years, but I still think Hasbro should have tried to sell Arms Microns with TF:Prime. I recently bought some and found them to be pretty nice. When I ask why the US got spring loaded weapons instead, even while other sub lines got "robots that turn into weapons" some here comment that Hasbro was scared of "Some Assembly Required." I do believe that is the case. Note Windstrike and the other RID16 Weaponizer Mini-Cons saw no US release, and earlier ones were sold at closeout or clearance prices. The clear bits, some on a sprue and some packed loose, did have to be assembled. If I was given the opportunity then to convince Hasbro otherwise I would have said, "Blindbag them all," and that might have done it.
