Do you like heavily show accurate designs and consistent good to great quality? Are you focussing on MPs? Fans Toys are your best bet. Even if grimlock is meh, the others are all solid.
Do you like the toy designs, like some stylization(but not much), and like or don't mind kibbly aspects like dino legs hanging off robot legs? Do you want your Dinobots absolutely massive and do you no mind waiting a year or two, or more, to have a complete set? then try Gigapower.they are MP scale, but slightly bigger and chunkier than FansToys. They have good bang-for-your-buck, but there's only two released so far, though the rest have at least protos existing. But yeah, they're slow so if you want your complete DB display NOW, it might be frustrating.
Do you likeClassics-Generations figures, and like stylization and gimmicks? Do you happen to go to cons alot, where you can pick them up for cheap(sub-$50)Then the Fansproject Dinobots are pretty neat. Classics scale, and have non-obtrusive weapon-master gimmick partners. They may not be worth full price, but tend to go on sale a lot, and as I mentioned, a lot of cons tend to sell them for less than $60, which is great value, relatively.
Planet X is doing some dinobots, but the set isn't complete yet and some of the released ones are hard to find. They're FoC based, so if you like those designs, they're good.
Then there's a couple 1-off Grimlocks. There's an oversized MP Grimlock that's popular as an alternative to FT and GP's Grimlocks.
There's some Legends size stuff, which know nothing about, and some other companies that get middling reviews. The Combining Dinobot from gCreations, Shuraking, is a mediocre combiner, but the individual components aren't bad. They're very G1 styled, if that's your cup of tea, and around classics scale.
