It was a nexo knights figure. At the time i was running a dnd campaign using legos for monsters, players, and some but not all of the landscapes, walls of dungeons, and puzzels. The figure had big bulky armor, an interesting helmet, a shield with the trademark logo, and an orange translucent sword. They all worked pretty well for magic items and the head, torso, and legs all had this "generic knight" feel to them. Needless to say, those parts were used quite often to indicate magic armor or a random knight. I also used his armor for a hardcore skeleton knight with magic armor boss fight. That figure went a long way.
A week after the book was put back on the shelf a lady came through with it and i had to ring her up. I said, like an idiot, "that's a good deal!" She said "oh my son will love it, but i wish it had the little man on it..." i had to keep a good pokerface.
