Let's start here, actually. In big boy world, shipping costs money. In fact, the greater the distance, the more money it costs! The postmaster will not give you what you want if you throw a tantrum. When a big boy wants to save shipping, he orders from somewhere closer or takes advantage of combined shipping.
Then there's eBay. Oh boy. See, many manchildren cannot wait for their dollies so non-Priority shipping is out. Other manchildren also make false claims, no non-tracked shipping is also out. And for all the whining about how packaging is "worthless," don't you dare remove it to lighten the load, no sir.
Of course, manchildren still don't know that eBay charges fees on shipping. Or don't care. That's the seller's problem. Same with PayPal fees, where the fixed part kills you on $3 trinkets.
It's unrealistic to expect a $3 toy to be mailed cross country in 2 days for less than $3. It's not scalping or mean old boomers or whatever.
Up until the last two years, you could go to a con and scoop up as much POTF2 as you wanted for $2 a pop. But that's outside and scary.
