It's just gacha RNG which may or may not be rigged. I spent 2k on new Noa/Nemo and didn't get either but I spent 1250 on previous gacha and got both and a Yona dupe.

Wiz skill damage isn't bad but her S2 animation a bit too long imo and it can't be canceled mid-animation. Her normal attack is low since she doesn't have normal attack damage increase from her skill or passives.

If you like her but she's a really basic mage and doesn't have too much in terms of survivability. No camera invincibility like Megumin but her damage is good. No moveable skills either. Aqua is great character from this batch already and probably better than Wiz. Do chase if you like Wiz.

Would have liked Kuroka but I'm not gonna push my luck. Viper seems like he'll be good for those annoying Grand Project stages that require you to debuff enemies because his rune drive skills give him different status enchants to inflict. I really hate those stages so I'm actually very happy to get him even though he seems to suck otherwise.

Or maybe popularity isnt everything, i recall a free character that released during a Chaguma 2017 or 2018 event that got at least a little bit popular and in the end he didnt get a new unit and barely appeared in future Chaguma events.
I don't remember why but i think he even had some slight shipping with Tina.

A lof of events have "date" scenes now but i still don't understand who the characters are going with.
In Chaguma and share house they do show the MC but in other events nothing show who it is.
If it's the MC it wouldnt make sense for a lot of character scenes.
