Bois i got a problem.
So i played a lot of AoE when i was a kid in early 2000s and throgh out the years i returned to game a lot of times, so i developed fighting, micro, counters, over all game sense. I honestly just assumed the game is dead am i'm the only weirdo that is still enjoying it.
I boght HD i 2017 and DE in preorder. I want go get back on track and try multiplayer. I was too busy to start practising so i watched pretty much all of Spirit of the Law, i watch T90 casts every day and i analyze what Viper does on his videos. My mindset is that i don't know anything and have to learn everything.
I started practising and with proper build orders i managed to beat all the AIs. Before I was a typical wall-in byzantines/teutons player with a strategy to wall, boom and go out with the stream of units. Now i force myself to go out and rush as early as possible. Drush into Men-at-Arms into skirms and pikes for defence, a tower drop, on the resources, usual stuff. I won against Extreme AI by Tower Rush and i wasn't even Korean xD
But recentely i just keep loosing every time. Is it my economy? I do have problem with managing villagers while microing the fight, but i set my hotkeys now so i can keep vills flowing in. Then when i sort out economy for Castle Age, while producing military (usualy forward Barracks and Stables/Range) i make another rushing attempt but it never works out. It worked before i never did anything diffrently
