It's either autists wearing nostalgia googles or autists complaining about TW battles not being realistic enough.
Actual ancient combat looked literally nothing like anything that's ever been done in a videogame or even a fucking a movie. Much less fucking total war series. So why are you faggots complaining about muh soldiers not being able to get just injured, or arrows dealing same damage no matter the distance.
You might aswell complain that battles dont take several hours or days, that your units arent virtually uncontrollable in the heat of the battle, or that they dont start routing after fucking 10-20% casualties, with most of the army dying during the rout.
