>>338017>Having to play a specific ST just to not have your basic melee units (which are not even inherently good) be useful really highlights the problem.ST are not supposed to be instantly useful for every race (Except Promethian the ultimate easymode).
Kir'ko are supposed to be a swarm faction that is why they get their units much cheaper than others. Their units are dependent of each other to synergize. Not every faction is Vanguard where you just mass troopers and call it a day.
Why do you think Brood Cluster and Preserving the Future are a thing? Brood Cluster basically gives you +50% production for FREE as long as your Food income is equal to your production by making units cheaper in production. If you have preserving the future you only need 84% of food/production ratio.
A frenzied is 150 Prod to produce meaning if you have 100 Production and 84 food in your colony you can produce a frenzied every turn provided you got the Energy.
You know how easy it is to get 100 production and 84 Food?
Production: Colony Center (60) + Central Replicator Factory (15) + 5 Workers on Production (25) =100
Food: Colony Center (20) + level 3 Agri exploitation (20) + 9 Workers on food (45) + Preserving the future +20% = 102
This is without having the HQ or any landmarks, rivers, production sectors built and you are already producing a Frenzied every turn.
While at the same time you can spawn Emergents every 2 turn just by having OP effectiveness I researched cause you do not need to produce them.
>What's the point of running more than one per army? They are the ultimate enablers for using the initially weak Kirko units and heroes of course, they can absorbs 1 unit heal another and they do decent damage themselves. Frenzied can absolutely shred Early-Mid game units in melee if they can survive that is why Transcendents are there.
