tl:dr
-Trains would be made way more realistic, making this game a very unique one on the market
-the system would make it possible for example to have just one locomotive running 2 sets of wagon (for example from a mine to a power plant), saving a lot of money
-the locomotives would be able to run without wagons to refueling places making it more realistic and easier to manage the track layouts for refueling places
-saving time so that one locomotive doesn't have to constantly sit with wagons fo hours when loading a train at the station.
-would add a little bit of variety when it comes to which locomotives appear on certain lines (like irl)
thanks for reading through :)
>>261162It's a mixture of Cities Skylines and openTTD. You place each building individually, no zoning like Skylines. Resources/materials/workers are directed by you as well, either indirectly through bus lines or directly through assigning specific apartments to specific percentages of people working in specific places (but I don't use that because it reduces flexibility (oh no everyone starved because the whole town was working at the mine))
