>>270740All things considered, this was perhaps the best possible outcome of this situation. Losing Finland is bitter, but for now I'd rather lose it to the Turks than the Russians. Finland has no proper ports, and the Turkish fleet has begun to move away, which means I have some time before I need to start worrying about Stockholm. The Turks also defeated the Russian invasion, and hopefully the two of them will keep each other occupied while I build up some defences.
A French army under Eugène-Casimir Villatte tries to move around Schleswig, towards Copenhagen, but is intercepted by Hogquist. An easy victory is expected, but I honestly tend to make way more unnecessary mistakes in these easy battles. I charged straight into some cheval de frise that I didn't see in the otherwise trivial battle against Napoleon.
More worryingly, a British fleet under Nelson has landed an army under the command of the Duke of Wellington in Hanover. Hopefully, he should go for the French, who actually control Hanover, I have a sneaking suspicion he might just go for Denmark instead.
