>>269480>scuse me?>Warcraft 1 2 & Starcraft had essentially hero units in the singleplayer>however they are just reskinned buffed versions of regular units
That's what he said, dummy.>You still had story characters in campaigns but like Starcraft they were basically just a slightly modified unit sprite with unique stats and name.
Changed stats, portraits and voice overs. Not really reskinned though (Just usually have different color than player).
Plus, in Orcs & Humans you had only two "hero" units for each campaign: one for rescuing (Anduin/Garona) and another to kill (Medivh/Griselda).>fun thing is that war2's source code got leaked but nobody has done anything with it.
Because that's the source code for Dark Saga (PlayStation version), so of course nobody really cares about it.>>269096>Never played 1, but 2 was pretty fun.
Orcs & Humans is also pretty much, even though its the easiest game in the series. Biggest "issue" with it are controls, but it's very simple to get used to them. Especially if you already played WC2 and WC3. Factions are basically the same (mostly mirrored), but without navel units. Road system isn't really that annoying and you better look out for those catapults.>>269446>Is reforged bad If I just want to do the single player?
Reforged is terrible regardless of your preferences... Unless you have shit taste. Use your CD key to activate some early version of Warcraft 3 from Internet or buy it from someone.
