1 bunch warabi, cleaned and chopped into 1-inch pieces (discard the hard stems).
1 medium onion, sliced
1 package kamaboko, julienned
1 package dried opae
2-3 T of your favorite sesame- / onions- / miso-based dressing
Place warabi in a boiling pot of water for 1-2 minutes.
Immediately transfer to a bowl filled with ice water.
Cool warabi for approximately 20 minutes.
Transfer warabi to a large bowl, add remaining ingredients, and toss.
Chill for 1-2 hours before serving.
