1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 + - / (64)>Possible locations for KOT in ID:
xxxxxKOT (6)>To calculate chance of KOT ID:
The chance of getting any specific character is 1/64. The chance of getting three specific characters in a row is 1/64*1/64*1/64.
To calculate that we can do 1/(64^3) which is 1/262144.
Since there are six possible locations, we can multiply that by 6, which gives us 6/262144, simplified 3/131072.
That means that, statistically, and given that the ID generation is truly random, you should see a true KOT ID appear three times per 131072 unique IDs generated, or approximately once out of every 43,690 IDs generated.
