shimano still makes good road brake levers
they come with cables too. Would be the best like for like replacement and they atleast used to be able to be bought cheaply
Dia Compe make several including Gran Compe (supposed to be their top line), which are a bit more retro, and other less retro ones. Have a look at their website under road and touring.
Tektro do TRP RRL which are the chunkiest you can get, come in drillium AND carbon flavours (and tektro make a bunch of crap ones, but TRP is their premium line).
SRAM actually makes them as well in both fixie lines and hurf i'm a 1x mfg and people run different brakes on different sides lines.
Cane Creek also but I think they only do v-brake levers maybe not
definately think it's worth changing. Nice things to touch matter a lot.
