It's one of the most aesthetic ads, leagues above the majority of what's in circulation.
It might be because Aveillan had enough clout to demand creative freedom, or that Louis Vuitton is rich enough and well known enough to be able to afford quirky side-project ads.
The fact remains though the the specific ad is aesthetic as fuck, with great use of light and colour contrast (as well as music score). Even the product placement looks more accidental than paid for, up until the end.
