Reminds me of this story years ago:https://www.cbsnews.com/news/tefillin-terrorist-religious-jew-accidentally-sets-off-airplane-bomb-scare/
What is it with Americans always acting without thinking in these situations? There's no way in hell these people could have flown in and out of literal Jew York every day without knowing this shit. Maybe it's this American obsession with superheroes, they see these things as their time to shine, so as soon as they see something remotely unfamiliar, their wishful thinking and confirmation bias takes over.
I mean I'm not perfect myself, sometimes I get pissed off at people and start looking for reasons to escalate a situation, but I've learned to control my emotions so I can just sit there and seethe. Anyone should see the absurdity of indulging feelings like that to the point of ruining the day of a whole plane load of people, causing actual physical injuries as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage. And on top of that probably ruining the life of the poor guy you're pissed at, because he's probably going to be stamped as a potential terrorist for the rest of his life, thanks to burger logic.
