/lg/ - Lego General: Studs vs tiles edition

No.6869652 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Welcome to /lg/, let's continue arguing about tiles, panels, slopes and "studless" parts in general. Should you use them whenever possible or should they be entirely avoided instead? Do you think Lego models should aspire to be as smooth as baby's bottom or is it an insult to the klocki aesthetic to deliberately hide the studs in most surfaces?

Thread Challenge: make a set with either every single stud covered in tiles and panels or one with absolutely no covered studs at all!
