Yeah, English get 2 campaigns, period-accurate English with proper pronunciation, architecture that goes from early Anglo-Saxonsettlements to renaissance, the unit roster in the game is built specifically according to them.>Chinese get:
Units speak Google-translated mandarin with mangled old pronunciation of the characters. No campaign. Their architecture is based on
1930s Australian culture expos, their landmarks contain buildings from when Hitler was going to school. They have to wait until age 3 to build crossbowmen and thick walls, age 4 for trebuchets, research wheelbarrows,... all things that Chinese started using around the bronze age. Both their and Mongol peasants get Manchu shits because who the fuck cares, it's all just yellow monkeys in the rice fields.
There is absolutely nothing in this game which would in any way not be most developed in the English. They are just the single most boring culture to have ever been shown in a medieval video game. That's why even the shittiest and most low-effort garbage given to the rest of the cultures seems better in comparison.
