I'm an OCD (not actual ocd but you know) perfectionist. A little over a year ago I slowly started developing a plan to satisfy it. At first it wasn't my intention - I just started writing down movies that I want to watch in the future, then games and it got bigger and bigger. Now I have an enormous list of all sort of things like games, movies, books, shows, places to visit, albums and even memorable youtube videos/series that I did something with and want to do something with. Some games I want to play, some - the ones that I love - I want to complete 100%. I want to rate how much I enjoyed every movie, it's just for me so if it's bad by mass standards and I loved it then I can give it a 4/5 and no one will judge me. I want to list all the albums I loved. I want to keep a memory from every theatre play I go to. I want to mark down every place I visited. I plan to make a nice steam-like program to have it all stored nicely and not in txt files.
The hardest part was recalling all the things from many years of life but over two years bit by bit I restored so much that I'm pretty satisfied with it and I thank God that my autistic completionist rampage doesn't drive me beyond that.
The other things I wrote down are things that I need to remind my self (one example - first aid in various situations), motivational things, memories from the past, and everything I can think of to describe that nostalgic-like feeling I wrote about earlier and what triggers it. The memories act sort of like a digital album - I plan to make a program that acts like one - you scroll down and you get these chronologically written memories and pictures - all in a style that reminds me of old photo albums. The weird nostalgic-like feeling one is something that I feel is right to capture. Maybe I'll write a book about it in when I get old - not for commercial purposes but just to break it all down on paper even for my own enjoyment.
